Innovative + New-Venture = Inventure

2016 In Review

In 2016 Inventure Foods employees donated their time to charities, civic and various other causes.  We encourage our employees to get involved and to give back in various ways to the communities where we live and work.

Over the past several years the company has been engaged with the Boys and Girls Clubs.  We have contributed financially as well as through hundreds of hours of volunteer service to support the clubs in metropolitan Phoenix, Lynden, Washington, and Wells County, Indiana.  In 2016 Inventure Foods was the title sponsor again for the “Big Event” which is one the of the primary fund raising events for the metro Phoenix clubs.

In addition to our support of the Boys and Girls Clubs the company supports the Seattle Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House Charities, United Way and other worthwhile organizations.  Along with our work with those causes we are privileged to support the Watkins Homeless Shelter for women in Phoenix.  We provide dinner and serve throughout the year with many of our corporate and Goodyear employees taking part.

In 2016 employees gave hours of service work to Junior Achievement, Special Olympics, the Palomino Food Pantry and many other organizations.  Over the Holidays employees adopted school classrooms, handed out food and food pantries, and provided financial support to Homeward Bound a shelter for abused women.

Beyond the hours of service work and financial support that Inventure Foods provides we also donate food to many events, and charities such as the American Cancer Society “Relay for Life”, St.Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, and the C.A.S.S. Homeless Shelter.  Inventure Foods considers giving back to our neighbors and communities a privilege that we will always embrace.
